The Hoover High School varsity football team entered its bye week following a 34-27 nonleague win over Temple City 34-27 on Oct. 6.
The Tornados carried a two-game win streak into their road matchup at Viewpoint High in Calabasas on Oct. 20; the nonleague game ended after the Glendale News-Press’ deadline and will be included in next week’s issue.
Hoover (3-5 overall) will end the regular season at intracity rival Glendale (5-4) for the annual Battle of the Bell game on Oct. 26 at 7 p.m.
