Glendale SuperLotto Ticket Nearly Scores Jackpot

By City News Service

There were no tickets sold with all six numbers in the Aug. 12 SuperLotto Plus drawing, however, a ticket with five numbers was sold in Glendale at a Mobil station on Brand Boulevard. The jackpot for Wednesday’s drawing was $9 million.
In addition to the Glendale ticket, a liquor store in Granada Hills and a smoke shop in Garden Grove also each sold a ticket with five numbers without the Mega number. These three tickets are each worth $10,696, the California Lottery announced.
The numbers drawn last Saturday night, Aug. 12, were 3, 13, 16, 42, 44 and the Mega number was 3. The jackpot was $8 million. The drawing was the second since the last time a ticket with all six numbers was sold.
The odds of matching all five numbers and the Mega number is 1 in 41,416,353, according to the California Lottery.
Since no tickets were sold with all six numbers for Wednesday’s drawing, the estimated jackpot for tonight’s drawing is $10 million.
