The Montrose Arts & Crafts Festival recently held its 39th anniversary on June 3-4. The two-day festival is one of the oldest events of its type in California and is the largest public event in Glendale, which is sponsored by the Montrose Shopping Park Association. The event featured more than 250 fine artists, crafters, food vendors, California Certified farmers, musicians and entertainers. Some vendors came from as far away as Arizona and New Mexico to shop an array of handmade crafts, jewelry, fine art, textiles, flowers and more.
