The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ tennis team was edged at Nordhoff High of Ojai in total games, 72-67, after finishing its CIF-Southern Section Division III first-round match in a 9-9 draw.
CV’s No. 1 doubles team of Ryan Lee and Joseph Choi (6-1, 6-3, 6-1), the No. 2 tandem of Joshua Kook and Hochan Lee (6-3, 7-6, 6-0), and the No. 3 duo of Easan Hamkins and Daniel Lee (6-1, 6-3, 6-0) each collected sweeps.
The Falcons finished the season third in the Pacific League with an 8-4 record (8-7 overall).
