Dignity Health was proud to host a free soccer clinic at Cerritos Elementary School with five-time MLS Cup champions, L.A. Galaxy.
More than 400 elementary students — ages 4 – 12 — took part in the event, which included instruction by L.A. Galaxy youth soccer coaches and an appearance by Galaxy alumni player, Rafael Garcia.
“We are excited to bring together two of our favorite partners, the L.A. Galaxy and Cerritos Elementary School,” said Cassie McCarty, director of mission integration.
“Having the L.A. Galaxy here today to inspire a love of soccer and physical activity is an incredible opportunity for the students.”
Dignity Health and L.A. Galaxy also donated soccer equipment to the school.
