Adventist Health Glendale Recognized for Maternity Care

Adventist Health Glendale has been listed as “high performing” in maternity care for uncomplicated pregnancies in rankings by U.S. News & World Report, a recognized source of consumer advice.
The designation is the top rating a hospital can earn in the publication’s ranking of hospitals regarding maternity care, Adventist said.
Nearly 650 hospitals that provide labor and delivery services submitted detailed data to the publication for analysis. Fewer than 300 hospitals received a “high performing” designation, placing Adventist Health Glendale among the top. The annual evaluation assists expectant parents and their doctors in making informed decisions about where to receive maternity care.
“Adventist Health Glendale has been bringing new babies into the world for generations,” said Alice Issai, president of Adventist Health Glendale. “Our teams continuously strive to create the safest and best possible experience for expecting families through seamless care and access to a level III neonatal intensive care unit.
“We are honored by this recognition, which highlights the intentional and high level of maternity care we provide at Adventist Health Glendale,” Issai added.
