Total Wine & More held a celebration and ribbon-cutting event on Wednesday, March 8, at the company’s newest store, its 36th in California, located on the lower level of the Glendale Fashion Center at 221 N. Glendale Ave.
More than 400 community members including Glendale Mayor Ardy Kassakhian, Christopher Khachadour of state Assemblymember Laura Friedman’s office and Glendale Arts’ Board chair Susan Hunt helped celebrate the new store and its 50 store team members as they enjoyed live music, food from Glendale venues and tastings of beer, wine and spirits. Total Wine & More donated 10% of the store’s wine sales over the grand opening weekend to Glendale Arts, a nonprofit that promotes and showcases the arts throughout the region.
