The Glendale High School varsity girls’ water polo team snapped its four-game losing streak by defeating visiting San Marino, 10-5, in a nonleague game last Thursday.
Brina Brati registered a game-high four goals, Lori Libarian scored three goals, Leah Gaddes recorded a pair of goals and Bella Grigoryan added one goal.
The Nitros (5-8 overall) will open Pacific League action by hosting Pasadena on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.

The Tornados have been idle since competing in the Los Altos tournament the weekend of Dec. 9-10.
Hoover (3-6 overall) will open Pacific League action by hosting Burbank on Tuesday, Jan. 3, at 3:30 p.m.
