A 44-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of burglary and vandalism after allegedly breaking into an apartment in the 700 block of Jackson Street at around 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 15. Officers said the man caused around $4,800 in damage to the apartment after kicking in the front door, shattering a TV, breaking dishes and flipping a table.

A 39-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and possession of a controlled substance while armed after being pulled over at around 5 p.m. Monday, May 16, near Glendale Avenue and Los Feliz Road. Officer said the man was in possession of a loaded firearm with an additional magazine, methamphetamine, a pipe and a pocketknife.
