Former editorial staff members of the Glendale News-Press, Burbank Leader, Foothill Leader and the Valley Sun recently gathered at Tequilas Cantina & Grill in Burbank for a reunion of journalists. Tim Conway Jr. emceed the event on the restaurant’s back outdoor patio for about 20 journalists and photographers in addition to their family members and friends. On display were past issues of the Glendale News-Press and Burbank Leader, a slideshow of scanned images and photo albums with hundreds more images. Conway, former editor Tim Traeger and former publisher Judee Kendall shared charming stories about their experiences with the newspapers and spoke in memoriam of several journalists who had since passed.
