The Crescenta Valley High School varsity softball team defeated visiting Burbank, 9-4, on Thursday to remain atop the Pacific League standings. Lily Hinkle and Anais Ochoa each doubled, Jaiden Sabelis, Alexa Johnson and Lauren Curtis each collected a pair of base hits and Isabelle Jamgotchian finished 2-for-3 with a walk.
The visiting Falcons (18-8 overall record, 10-1 in league) narrowly defeated a tough Arcadia squad, 8-6, on Tuesday. Krohn went 2-for-3 with a home run, Ochoa tripled, Curtis recorded a double and a walk, and Hinkle and Johnson each tallied a pair of base hits.

CVHS will visit Burroughs High of Burbank in a league game on Tuesday, April 26, at 3:15 p.m.
GLENDALE
The Nitros dropped a high-scoring Pacific League game to visiting Muir High of Pasadena, 16-12, on Tuesday.
Glendale previously lost a league game at Pasadena, 15-5, last Thursday as sophomore Jazmin Combs collected a pair of base hits and a run scored. Senior Destiny Contreras added a base hit and a pair of RBIs, junior Desiree Guzman posted a base hit and a pair of runs scored, and senior Christine Raj finished with a double. Senior Yara Shoora and freshman Natalie Minkler each tallied a base hit, while seniors Angie Leos and Janelle Marquez each scored once.
The sixth-place Nitros (4-19-1 overall, 3-7 in league) will visit Hoover in a league game on Monday, April 25, at 3:30 p.m.

HOOVER
The Tornados lost a Pacific League game to visiting Pasadena, 14-3, on Tuesday after defeating host Muir High of Pasadena, 13-9, last Thursday. No individual statistics were reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Seventh-place Hoover (2-8 overall and in league) will visit Glendale in a league game on Monday, April 25, at 3:30 p.m.
