Ladies Night Out to Benefit Cancer Support Community

First published in the Sept. 22 print issue of the Pasadena Outlook.

Cancer Support Community will present its highly anticipated annual Ladies Night Out fundraiser on Thursday, Oct. 6, at Bowlero in Hastings Ranch, Pasadena.
This year’s theme may be “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun,” but the event is open to those who wants to
celebrate and honor the courageous women who have faced cancer.
The event will feature a night of bowling, shopping, an exciting raffle and auction, and more — all for a great cause.
“I’m looking forward to this unique venue paired with the amazing evening our volunteer committee has created for our guests,” said Kim Burbank Ferreira, Cancer Support Community’s director of events and marketing. “They’ve worked hard to create a fun atmosphere with something exciting around every turn. There really is something for everyone, and you won’t want to miss out.”
Tickets are now on sale at CSCP.link/nightout2022.
R-Lene Mijares De Lang is this year’s honorary chair, and the hilarious Ellen Driscoll will entertain attendees all evening long as the Mistress of Ceremonies Julie McCormick will take the stage to speak to guests about her experience with Cancer Support Community as a participant and volunteer.
“We all need some fun right now, so why not join us at Bowlero on Thursday evening, Oct. 6?” said Patricia Ostiller, Cancer Support Community’s executive director. “Even if you don’t bowl, you’ll enjoy food and drink and camaraderie. And you’ll also be raising support for over 1,000 people in our shared community who are facing a cancer diagnosis.”
Individual tickets are $200 and include heavy pub fare all night long, wine and beer, and dancing. For sponsorships or more information, visit cscp.link/nightout2022, or contact Kim Burbank Ferreira at k.ferreira@cscpasadena.org or (626) 796-1083.
