Erskine to Speak at YMCA Prayer Breakfast Oct. 15

First published in the Sept. 22 print issue of the Outlook Valley Sun.

Attendees of this year’s YMCA of the Foothills Community Prayer Breakfast will enjoy more than a delicious breakfast and live music as La Cañada Outlook Valley Sun’s columnist Chris Erskine takes the stage as keynote speaker to share his faith-related story at the special gathering on Saturday, Oct. 15.
Guests will enjoy a morning of shared faith and prayers, music from local musicians, and a chance to socialize with the community at large while doing some good. Sponsorship opportunities are available and welcome.
In partnership with Citizens Business Bank, the 31st annual Community Prayer Breakfast will benefit the Y’s Chaplains Services program and take place outdoors, in the upper parking lot of Crescenta-Canada Family YMCA.
Tables of eight are available for a $600 donation and individual tickets are $100 each. This year’s theme is “Perseverance Through Faith.” Breakfast will be served between 7:45-8:20 a.m. and the program will begin promptly at 8:30 a.m.
To reserve your table and learn more about this event, contact Joanne Pingry, director of mission advancement at jpingry@ymcafoothills.org, or visit ymcafoothills.org/prayerbreakfast.
