Gary L. LaVoie was born October 27, 1936 in Hastings, NE to Albert and Dena (Theis) LaVoie. He grew up in Campbell, NE. and graduated from high school there. He attended the University of Nebraska majoring in Music. He graduated in 1958 and the following week he married Sally Dwinell LaVoie. He is survived by his wife; children Jerry (Maryann), Jean Sorensen, Steve (Laurie), Ann Cooper (Bryan). He is preceded in death by his parents and daughter, Aimee.
Visitation will be Friday, October 13, 2023 at Butherus Maser & Love Funeral home, 4040 A Street. 10am to 8pm with a Rosary at 6:30pm at the funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday, October 14, 2023 at 10:00am at St Joseph Catholic Church, 1940 South 77th Street followed by a burial at Calvary Cemetery. Memorials to Mass for the Shut-ins.
