GUSD Seeks Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee Applicants

The Glendale Unified School District is seeking applicants for its Citizens’ Bond Oversight Committee.

The committee, established in 2011 following the passage of the Measure S facilities improvement bond, meets quarterly to oversee bond expenditures. It informs the public and submits annual reports to the Board of Education.

Board-appointed members serve one- or two-year terms. The district encourages parents, community members and business leaders to apply.

Expertise in architecture, engineering, construction, law, education administration, finance, real estate or public administration is valued but not required.

Applications are due to the district’s Public Information Office by July 12.
