I am imploring drivers to watch out for pedestrians!
If you want to take a right on red, don’t just look to the left to see if you can beat on-coming traffic. Look to the right for pedestrians. Their walk sign is on, and you have a red light.
If you are pulling out of a driveway, don’t just check for cars. You are crossing a pedestrian walkway, so make sure it is clear before proceeding.
Don’t just blow through a stop sign because there are no other cars present. Even if you hit a pedestrian at 5 mph, it’s going to mess up their life as well as yours.
