The commencement ceremony for graduating seniors at Verdugo Academy took place at First United Methodist Church in Glendale on June 5.
Aaron Jeter Acuna was the featured student speaker as the school’s graduates gathered for the memorable occasion. Principal Lonny Root delivered a salute to the graduates as well as closing remarks. Verdugo Academy is part of the Glendale Unified School District and is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
