Glendale Police Respond to Burglary, Stolen Vehicle Reports

On May 17, around noon, the Glendale Police Department responded to the 100 block of S. Kenwood Street after receiving descriptions of two suspicious people, who attempted to flee as officers arrived on scene.
Officers ultimately detained both suspects, who had in their possession various stolen items from a residential complex in that block. Officers found a unit at the complex ransacked and identified a pried open front door as the point of entry. Both suspects were arrested on burglary charges.

Glendale’s Downtown Policing Unit was alerted on May 17 to a stolen vehicle near Pacific Avenue and Colorado Street just after 4 p.m. The vehicle was eventually located in the Glendale Galleria parking structure.
As officers attempted to contact the occupants, the vehicle fled, initiating a pursuit by the officers. After a short pursuit, the suspect collided into another vehicle, disabled it. Four occupants exited the vehicle and attempted to flee on foot, however, they were all located and placed under arrest for various charges including possession of a stolen vehicle, identity theft and evading.
