The city of Glendale is offering a voluntary and anonymous gun buyback program on Saturday, June 3, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Civic Center parking garage, located at 650 E. Wilson Ave.
The buyback event will provide a safe way for gun owners to dispose of unwanted firearms, no questions asked.
For each firearm turned in, participants will receive a Target gift card, while supplies last. Gift cards are limited to three per participant.
Guns must be unloaded and locked in an automobile trunk upon arrival. Military ordinances and explosives will not be accepted.
The Glendale Police Department will have all the guns melted down. For more information, call the Community Relations Team at (818) 548-4015.
