The Downtown Glendale Association (DGA) — a community benefit district focused on improving business along the Brand Boulevard corridor in downtown Glendale — hosted a celebration of International Women’s Day on Wednesday, March 8, at the MYA Rooftop at the Glenmark.
For more than 100 years, International Women’s Day has been celebrated annually, this is a day to celebrate the cultural, social, economic and political achievements of women while also making it a call to action for continuing to forge a gender-balanced world.
The event featured a presentation by Diane Doolin on “Embracing the Mantle of Family Financial Leadership” along with a chance for attendees to take in the amazing views, food and drinks from the Glenmark Hotel.
Everyone in attendance enjoyed the presentation and the chance to network with each other.
