The Hoover High School varsity boys’ soccer team blanked visiting Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences of Granada Hills, 4-0, in its nonleague season opener on Wednesday. Individual statistics were not reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Following next week’s holiday, the Tornados (1-0 overall) will return to action in a nonleague game at Sonia Sotomayor High in Los Angeles on Monday, Nov. 28, at 4:30 p.m.
CRESCENTA VALLEY
The Falcons are scheduled to visit La Salle College Preparatory in Pasadena for their nonleague season opener on Thursday, Dec. 1.
GLENDALE
The Nitros will kick off their season with a nonleague game against visiting Maranatha High of Pasadena on Monday, Nov. 29, at 3:30 p.m.
