Welcome to the 2022-2023 School Year! On behalf of Glendale Council PTA, it is my distinct honor to welcome GUSD students, teachers, staff, families, and community members back to a promising year ahead.
As we embark on a new school year, Glendale Council PTA reaffirms its commitment to engage families, empower students, parents, and teachers, and elevate PTA’s advocacy — every child, one voice.
Glendale Council PTA proudly represents the schools of the Glendale Unified School District and serves as the governing body that oversees the 24 school unit PTAs.
Our students at Glendale Unified School District are exceptional. It is our duty to safeguard and protect their best interests so they can flourish and achieve academic achievement. Today, more than ever, it is imperative for us to listen to our students’ voices and embrace positive collaboration from all GUSD stakeholders. Glendale Council PTA is looking forward to strengthening its community partnerships to enrich the educational experience among students, teachers, parents and school administration.
We encourage our families and community members to join our efforts in furthering our mission by supporting and joining the PTA, the largest child advocacy organization. Glendale Council PTA is fortunate to have empowered volunteers, dedicated and diverse parent leaders, who are well-trained and knowledgeable in all things PTA. Our local units provide valuable resources to students, educators and parents alike. We offer high-quality programs and fun events, from STEM nights to art assemblies, which enhance the educational experience of our students. We represent our Glendale families in the creation of legislation and education policies that directly impact the well-being of our students and families.
We encourage you to join us in carrying on the PTA legacy of making every child’s potential a reality. Thank you for your support of the PTA, strong advocates for public education and the most powerful partnership in building our children’s future.
