The graduating seniors of Crescenta Valley High School crossed the stage for this year’s fully-fledged, outdoor commencement ceremony on Monday, June 13.
Hundreds of family and friends gathered for the on-campus event, which included a Presentation of the Colors by the CVHS Air Force JROTC, a performance of Bob Dylan’s “Forever Young” by the Charismatics Chamber Choir and addresses by Eric Markarian and Megan Lee.
Crescenta Valley High School Principal Christine Benitez awarded the valedictorian and Glendale Unified School District Superintendent Vivian Ekchian provided the Recognition of Class.
The Class of 2022 motto was, “You may not control all the events that happen to you, but you can decide not to be reduced by them,” by Maya Angelou.
