CVHS Student Wins Congressional Art Competition

A Crescenta Valley High School student won first place in the annual Congressional Art Competition held for Congressman Adam Schiff’s district.
Viviana Ahn, a junior at CVHS, was selected for her mixed media piece, titled “Williaaaaam/Final on Friday.” As the first-place recipient, her artwork will hang in the U.S. Capitol for one year, alongside that of other congressional district winners.
For Schiff’s district, Madeline Lauren Kwan, from Maranatha High School, took second place and Aaron Magtoto, from La Cañada High School, took third, and their works will hang in Schiff’s Washington D.C. office and Burbank office, respectively, for a year.
