Falcons Win 6th Straight Game

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team dominated host Royal High of Simi Valley, 19-3, in a nonleague game on Wednesday.
Senior Henry Kaufman led with seven goals, three assists and six ground balls, while senior Mason Daly collected four goals, two assists and five ground balls. Senior Jonathan Aydin scored a pair of goals, and senior Nathan Kilgore produced one goal, two assists and three ground balls. Senior Ezra Suh, senior Easton Caneva, junior Damian Valdez, sophomore Quincy Lunt and sophomore Alex Lineses each scored one goal, while junior Ethan Sheklow had one assist and four ground balls.
The Falcons easily defeated visiting Viewpoint High of Calabasas, 14-5, on Tuesday to improve their record to 3-1 in the Gold Coast League (14-2 overall).
Daly posted five goals, two assists and four ground balls, senior Hayden Lunt tallied 13 saves, and Kilgore registered three goals and six ground balls. Suh finished with two goals and one assist, Kaufman scored a pair of goals, senior Ryan Chi had one goal and three ground balls, and senior Easton Caneva collected one goal and six ground balls.
CVHS traveled to Brentwood School of Los Angeles and won a league game, 9-3, last Thursday. Suh led with five goals and a pair of assists, Caneva added a pair of goals and 11 ground balls, Kaufman recorded one goal and three assists, Daly scored once and Lunt produced 19 saves.
The Falcons will host Sun Valley Village Christian in a league game on Tuesday, April 26.

GLENDALE

The Nitros entered this week having been idle since defeating Valencia on the road, 10-6, last Tuesday.
Glendale (7-7 overall, 1-1 in league) is scheduled to host Brentwood School of Los Angeles on Tuesday, April 26, at 4 p.m.
