The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ tennis team defeated visiting Burroughs High of Burbank, 11-7, in a Pacific League matchup on Tuesday.
Senior Ho Min Lee, CV’s No. 1 singles player, swept his three sets, 6-3, 7-6, 6-2, while senior Eric Chang tallied one set victory, 7-5.
Meanwhile in the doubles competitions, the No. 2 team of seniors David Kim and Soomin Yeom swept their sets, 6-2, 6-1, 6-2. The No. 1 duo of senior Chiwoon Lee and sophomore Dylan Kim collected a pair of set victories, 6-0, 6-1, while the No. 3 tandem of senior David Avakyan and junior Ryan Lee notched two set wins, 6-1, 6-1.
The Falcons will visit Burroughs in a league rematch on Thursday, April 21,
at 3:30 p.m.
GLENDALE
The Nitros returned to action after an 11-day hiatus and lost a Pacific League contest at Pasadena, 11-7, on Tuesday. No individual statistics were reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Glendale is scheduled to visit Hoover High in a league matchup on Tuesday, April 19, at 3:30 p.m.

The Tornados have been idle since losing a Pacific League match at Glendale, 12-6, on March 31. Hoover is scheduled to host Glendale in a league rematch on Tuesday, April 19, at 3:30 p.m.
