CV Wins Third Straight; Glendale Snaps Losing Streak

The Crescenta Valley High School varsity boys’ lacrosse team defeated visiting Heritage Christian High of Northridge in blowout fashion, 23-1, in a Gold Coast League game on Tuesday.
Senior Henry Kaufman led with seven goals and one assist while senior Mason Daly amassed four goals, six assists and five ground balls. Sophomore Quincy Lunt registered four goals and three ground balls, senior Nathan Kilgore tallied three goals and two assists, and senior Hayden Lunt registered nine saves and one assist. Senior Easton Caneva recorded one goal, one assist and 11 ground balls while senior Ezra Suh and sophomore Alex Lineses each posted one goal and two ground balls.
Senior Jonathan Aydin and junior Damian Valdez each had one goal while junior Ethan Sheklow collected two assists and three ground balls. Senior Ryan Chi was credited with one assist, junior Anthony Gharapitian produced one assist and two ground balls, and senior Dylan Valdez, junior Parker Trillo and sophomore Nelson Lunt each finished with three ground balls.
The Falcons (11-2 overall record, 1-1 in league) will host Viewpoint High of Calabasas in a league game on Tuesday, April 19, at 3:15 p.m.

GLENDALE

The visiting Nitros picked up a nonleague victory at Valencia, 10-6, on Tuesday. No individual statistics were reported to the Glendale News-Press.
Glendale (7-7 overall, 1-1 in league) will visit Village Christian High of Sun Valley in a Gold Coast League game on Thursday, April 21, at 4 p.m.
