The Hoover High School varsity boys’ tennis team picked up a Pacific League victory at Pasadena High, 11-7, on Tuesday.
No. 1 singles player Daniel Shakaryan swept 6-1, 6-3, 7-5. No. 2 singles player Albert Poghosyan tallied three set wins, 6-3, 6-1, 6-2. No. 3 singles player Alec Avedisian collect three wins, 6-2, 6-4, 6-1. Meanwhile, the No. 1 doubles team of Benjamin Lim and Vincent Abechian recorded two set wins, 6-2, 6-1.
The Tornados are scheduled to host Pasadena in a league matchup on Thursday, April 14, at 3:30 p.m.
