Investigators are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a man suspected of using a cellphone to view at least one woman while she was using a changing room at a store in the 200 block of Glendale Avenue at around 5 p.m. Sunday, March 13. The man was described as being white or Hispanic with an average build and standing 5 feet-7 inches tall, and was wearing a backward blue baseball cap, dark clothes, a jacket and white shoes.

A 29-year-old Glendale man was arrested on suspicion of illegal possession of a loaded firearm and possessing a firearm with a controlled substance after officers stopped him for allegedly being illegally parked in a handicap spot in the 700 block of Pacific Avenue at around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 29. Officers reported finding a loaded handgun without a serial number, along with heroin, oxycodone and drug paraphernalia inside the vehicle.

A 25-year-old transient man and 20-year-old Glendale man were arrested at around 10 p.m. Saturday, March 26, after being pulled over near the intersection of Pacific Avenue and Wilson Avenue and allegedly having a loaded “ghost gun” in their vehicle. The transient man was booked for possession of a firearm by a convicted felon and the Glendale man was booked for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle, carrying a loaded firearm in public and possessing a large-capacity magazine.

Crescenta Valley Sheriff’s Station

An unidentified man was captured on security footage on multiple occasions trying to burglarize a home in the 3000 block of Gertrude Avenue in La Crescenta. The man — who wore a reflective vest, green shirt, gray pants, black boots, white face mask and bucket hat — shattered a window at the home before running off at around 11 a.m. Tuesday, March 22. The would-be intruder was previously seen knocking on the door, scaling the garage and moving security cameras in different directions on Saturday, March 19.

A catalytic converter was reported stolen from a vehicle parked in the 2300 block of Del Mar Road in Montrose sometime between 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, and 9 a.m. Wednesday, March 23.

An unknown person was reported to have vandalized a Ram pickup truck parked on the street in the 2500 block of Mayfield Avenue in Montrose sometime between 6 p.m. Wednesday, March 23, and 6 a.m. Thursday, March 24. The vandal shattered one of the truck’s windows and dented one of its doors.
